Ridgecrest Installation Readiness™ Guide

At Ridgecrest Outdoor Living™, we believe purchasing premium outdoor living products should be exciting—not confusing.

Many products, including saunas, fire features, cold plunges, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and other outdoor structures, require varying levels of site preparation, utility connections, freight delivery coordination, assembly, or professional installation.

To help customers plan with confidence, Ridgecrest developed the Installation Readiness framework. Each applicable product page includes a Ridgecrest Installation Readiness™ rating along with guidance to help you understand delivery, assembly, utility, and site preparation requirements before you purchase.

What is Ridgecrest Installation Readiness?

Ridgecrest Installation Readiness is our proprietary planning system designed to help you understand what may be required before your product arrives. Rather than discovering installation requirements after delivery, you'll know in advance what level of preparation may be needed so you can purchase with confidence.

Our goal is to help you:

• Understand what may be required before delivery
• Avoid unexpected installation challenges
• Plan utility connections and site preparation
• Make informed purchasing decisions

Installation Readiness Levels

Typical examples:
• Patio furniture
• Portable fire features
• Outdoor accessories

Level 2 — Basic Setup Required

• Certain outdoor accessories

Level 3 — Installation Required

Important Delivery Note

Freight delivery and installation are separate services.

Most large Ridgecrest products are delivered curbside. Delivery personnel generally do not assemble, install, connect, or position products in their final location.

Before Delivery

Depending on the product, customers may wish to confirm:

• Delivery access
• Installation location
• Electrical requirements
• Gas requirements
• Water requirements
• Site preparation needs
• Local permit or HOA requirements

Ridgecrest Guide Service™

Many Ridgecrest products include complimentary support through our Ridgecrest Guide Service.

Depending on the product, a brief pre-delivery consultation may be conducted to help confirm delivery access, site readiness, utility requirements, manufacturer-specific shipping procedures, and general installation planning before shipment.

While Ridgecrest does not perform installation services or act as a contractor, our goal is to help customers identify potential issues before delivery—resulting in a smoother purchasing experience and fewer surprises on delivery day.

Why Ridgecrest Developed This System

Purchasing premium outdoor living products often involves more planning than traditional online shopping. We created the Installation Readiness Framework to provide customers with greater transparency before purchase, helping reduce unexpected installation challenges and making it easier to prepare for delivery.

Whether you're purchasing a portable fire feature or a custom outdoor sauna, our goal is the same: helping you buy with confidence.
